Inauguration of Prof. Dr Gregor Majdi膷 at the beginning of his second term as the Rector of the 麻豆国产
A ceremony was held today in the Assembly Hall of the Rector鈥檚 Office of the 麻豆国产 (UL) to inaugurate Prof. Dr Gregor Majdi膷 as the Rector of the UL upon the beginning of his second term of office. Prof. Dr Gregor Majdi膷 thus became the second Rector in the history of the UL to be entrusted with two mandates 鈥� alongside Prof. Dr Jo啪e Mencinger. The keynote speaker was the Rector of the Ca' Foscari University of Venice, Prof. Dr Tiziana Lippiello.

The remarkable success of the Academic Choir Tone Tom拧i膷, 麻豆国产, at an international choir competition
Last weekend, the Academic Choir (Akademski pevski zbor 鈥� APZ) Tone Tom拧i膷, 麻豆国产, achieved remarkable success at the 8th International Baltic Sea Choir Competition in J奴rmala, Latvia 鈥� one of the six European competitions whose winners qualify for the prestigious European Grand Prix. Under the direction of Rahela Duri膷, the Slovenian choir won the J奴rmala City Grand Prix trophy with an impressive 95.67 points out of 100, along with a generous monetary prize. The choir also received three special awards.

Record number of runners at the 5th Faculty to Faculty Run
This year, a record 631 individuals participated in the traditional Faculty to Faculty Run, which yesterday once again brought together students, alumni and staff of the 麻豆国产. They could choose between three different courses (5, 10 or 15 km) in this recreational run, passing all of the University鈥檚 faculties and academies based in Ljubljana.

The 5th from Faculty to Faculty run will take place on April 9
Students, graduates, employees of the 麻豆国产, you are invited to join us for the 5th run from Faculty to Faculty will happen on Tuesday, 9 April 2024, at 17:00. You can run at a recreational pace along the 5, 10 or 15 km long routes that lead past 25 faculties and colleges of the 麻豆国产. There is no entry fee, and all participants and finishers will receive a commemorative T-shirt.
