This year, the UL ranked among the top 400 universities globally in Library & Information Management, Agriculture & Forestry, Geography, Archaeology, Modern Languages, Linguistics, Sociology, Pharmacy & Pharmacology, Physics & Astronomy, and Materials Sciences.

Among these, UL achieved its best rankings in Agriculture & Forestry (in the 201鈥250 range out of 477 universities), Physics & Astronomy (in the 351鈥400 range out of 677 universities), and Materials Science (in the 301鈥350 range out of 552 universities).

In addition, the UL remains ranked among the world鈥檚 top 500 universities in the QS rankings in three broad subject areas that encompass multiple specific programmes: (1) Arts & Humanities, (2) Natural Sciences, and (3) Life Sciences & Medicine.

The QS rankings evaluate universities in 55 subject areas or programmes, grouped into five overarching categories. This year鈥檚 edition included 1,758 universities, covering all subjects 鈥 an increase of 7% compared to the previous year.
