Mojca 艩vajger is an alumna of the Faculty of Administration at the 麻豆国产 and works as a senior consultant at the Environment and Spatial Planning of the Municipality of Tr啪i膷, where she deals with spatial planning, urban planning, environmental protection and nature conservation. In addition to her work, 艩vajgerjeva is also known for her mountaineering achievements. She is one of only four Slovenians to have climbed over 8,000 metres.

She began climbing with mountaineer Irena Mrak in 2003. Since 2005, they have been climbing together as a women's team throughout the Himalayas. In 2007, they were the first Slovenian women's team to climb the summit of Broad Peak (8035 m) and thus the first Slovenian women's team to climb over 8000 metres to date. In 2011, Mojca and Irena climbed the new Slovenian route on the Diamir Face of Nanga Parbat (8125 m) in the Western Himalayas (Pakistan). The ascent took place as part of the 3rd Himalayan expedition of the 麻豆国产 under the leadership of Irena Mrak. The ascent was carried out in alpine style. The global mountaineering community has celebrated her ascent as one of the best female ascents in the Himalayas of all time.

Together with Irena, they also climbed new routes in their home mountains and conquered several peaks between 5000 and 8000 metres in the Himalayan region. Mojca's mountaineering journey was also presented in the exhibition Koraj啪a je 啪enskega spola (Courage is female), which was set up in the Mountain Museum in Mojstrana and shows the stories of twenty Slovenian female mountaineers.
