Call for enrolment
Applications for enrolment in study programmes are made via the application form on the eV艩 web portal. Applicants submitting foreign certificates of education as evidence of meeting the admission requirements must also submit an application for the recognition of foreign educational qualifications for the purpose of further education at the 麻豆国产.
Applicants should submit applications for enrolment electronically using the eV艩 web portal, either by means of electronic identification of at least medium-level reliability (with a qualified digital certificate, smsPASS, e-personal ID), an AAI-account (account for authentication and authorisation infrastructure), or a user name and password via the SI-PASS system, which operates under the Trust Service Authority of Slovenia.
The SI-PASS service is a single point for verifying the identity of various users and electronically signing applications and other documents. SI-PASS is generally used as part of performing individual electronic services.

Once the application has been successfully submitted, the candidate will receive a confirmation of the successful submission of his/her application to the e-mail address provided in the application form. If you do not receive a confirmation, your application has not been successful.
An application that has been completed, electronically signed and submitted to the eV艩 by the deadline set in the call for applications will be considered as on time.
In the application and admission procedures for the academic year 2024/2025, applicants shall submit the required supporting documents electronically via the eV艩 portal at the same time as the application for admission or subsequently in accordance with the instructions and deadlines set out in this call for applications, or in accordance with the notifications received by the applicant from the UL Member.
Each candidate may submit a maximum of 3 attachments per application, with a maximum size of 5 MB per attachment.
Applicants are obliged to monitor the e-mail address they have provided in their application for admission and the eV艩 web portal, as communication and any invitation to complete their application for admission may take place in this way. It is up to the applicants themselves to ensure that the e-mail address provided in the application is valid.

For information on special treatment of applicants with special status or needs for admission to Master's programmes, please contact the Member State (contact details are given in Part 2 of the call for applications for each Member State).
Candidates must submit supporting documents with their application or subsequently, in accordance with the instructions and deadlines set out in this call for applications, or in accordance with the notifications sent to applicants by the UL Member.
The UL Members shall inform candidates of the selection and admission procedures in accordance with their rules, either by traditional mail or by e-mail. In the case of service exclusively by electronic means via the eHE portal, the decision shall be deemed to have been served on the applicant on the second working day following the day on which the decision is published on the eHE portal.
The call for applications is open as defined by individual degree programme. For the programmes with no specified application deadline, the applications are open until 10 September 2024.
After the closing date, it is only possible to apply to the programmes with still available places until all the places are taken and no later than September 30, 2024. The information on the number and possible places is available at the respectful faculty/academy. The contacts are available in the call for applications.
In accordance with Article 53 of the Regulations on the Call for Admissions and Enrolment in Higher Education, enrolment in Master's degree programmes shall take place by 30 September, or, for justified reasons to be decided by the competent authority of the higher education institution, by 30 October at the latest. Detailed dates of enrolment in Master's degree programmes will be published on the websites of the UL member institutions.
Assesing Applications
Candidates applying for master degree programmes should give evidence of bachelor (first cycle) diploma or equivalent or of higher level according to the Higher Education Act.
Candidates should give evidence of fulfilling other access and admission criteria, according to respectful master degree programme.
In case of limited access, the applications will be assessed against selection criteria specific to the course of study (degree programme). In case the number of eligible candidates is still higher than the number of available places, the following possibilities are used alternatively:
- all eligible candidates who achieve the same number of points for the last advertised enrollment position are accepted.
- candidates are additionally selected among candidates with the same number of points for the last advertised enrollment position through an additional selection exam, which may also take the form of an interview.
Candidates are informed about the chosen selection method.
Where the programme specific entry requirements require the candidates to pass preliminary testing of special abilities test, the deadline for the applications is by rule set earlier, so that the faculty/academy can contact the applicants and invite them to preliminary testing. The accompanying costs are published in the University student services' price list.
If the candidate's qualifications do not meet the general entry requirements for direct entry, the candidate will be requested to provide additional proof of competences. Such additional requirements should be fulfilled before enrolment to the programme.
Registration to the Second 麻豆国产 Year, Transfers, Paralel Registration
Candidates can also apply to the second year of the two-year master degree programmes, providing they also meet the access requirements, set by the degree programme. The number of available places for entering the second year of respectful programmes is in the attached table. Where there are no numbers, please contact the relevant faculty or academy for further information.
The candidates aiming at enrolling in two master degree programmes must meet the entry requirements of both master degree study programmes.
Tuition Fees
The tuition fees are charged to part-time students, the students, already having the same level of education completed and to students of the third countries, with which there is no agreement concluded between the countries, on omitting the fees.
No tuition fee for full-time bachelor's and master's studies for:
- Slovenians and students from EU countries, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway
- Students from countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreement (Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Serbia)
- Students with permanent residence in the Republic of Slovenia who themselves or their parents/guardians are taxpayers of the Republic of Slovenia
- Persons granted international protection
- Scholarship holders of the Republic of Slovenia (CMEPIUS, Public Scholarship, Development, Disabiltiy and Maintenance Fund RS)
- Exchange students (included also PhD students)
Fee is paid by:
- Citizens of non-EU countries, excluding persons with international protection and persons from countries with which the Republic of Slovenia has concluded bilateral agreement
- All students with already acquired equivalent degree of education
- All part-time students
- All PhD students (co-financing scheme)
Administrative costs and compulsory health insurance are not included in the fee. These needs to be taken care of before the start of the studies.
Candidates with foreign qualifications
Candidates with foreign qualifications are considered to have applied for recognition of their entry qualifications with the application form with which they have applied for study.
Recognition of prior Learning
After registration, you can ask for recognition of prior learning, relevant to the contents of the programme you have registered. The procedures and criteria are defined by the university rules, adopted by the 麻豆国产 Senate.
