What does the Programme offer?

This funding call aims to support joint, transdisciplinary Health-related research collaborations within the EUTOPIA_HEALTH Consortium (EHC). The funding is designed to help researchers:

  • develop their health-related expertise, 
  • advance their careers,
  • enhance their international visibility and networking within the Consortium. 

The funding also helps EHC members:

  • strengthen their research collaborations,
  • increase their research capacity in Health.

Who can apply?

Research teams applying for Seed funding must include members from at least three Consortium universities, with at least one researcher from the three Consortium universities located in Widening countries. Collaborations with the EUTOPIA Global Partners or external research groups (outside the Consortium) are also encouraged to foster broader connections.

What does the funding provide?

  • Support for six transdisciplinary projects (two per Widening university)
  • A budget of â‚¬120.000 per project (including the indirect costs)
  • A 24-month implementation period, with funding prioritised for researchers from Widening partners.

The deadline for applications is 30.4.2025. Candidates will be notified of their selection on 30.9.2025. Selected projects or research must start between 1.10.2025 and 1.2.2026.
